J.C. Nichols Fountain, Country Club Plaza

Kansas City, Mo., public fountains

The Country Club Plaza is one of the most heralded retail venues in the nation with its ornate architecture and fountains. Miller-Stauch is proud to have been the partner in the 1960 construction of the most frequently photographed Plaza fountain.

Other Fountains

Volker Fountain
The William Volker Memorial Fountain was constructed on the lawn south of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art more than four decades ago. With the realignment of Brush Creek in the 1990s, the fountain was relocated to Volker and Rockhill.

Northland Fountain
The Northland Fountain in the Anita Gorman Park bordered by North Oak Trafficway, Interstate 29 and northeast Vivion Road is the only Kansas City fountain to continue flowing during cold weather, allowing the water jets to create dramatic ice sculptures.
